I believe your actions were brave and I respect the fact that you wanted to have the child and not have an abortion. I would not have made the same decision for myself (if I could get pregnant). I have never been pregnant for an obvious reason and I don't think I would want to deal with the sickness and judgement of other people. People may say "you know the easiest way to not get pregnant" and yes I would have planned a little better and used protection but either way if it happened abortion would be be best option for myself in my current situation.
Now, I believe you made the best decision for yourself. It made you feel better to have the kid and stuff and you dealt with everything pretty well I guess. Your father seems to have been giving u some pretty god advice and you should listen to him.
I have talked to my girlfriend about this and she said she would carry the baby to term rather than have an abortion because she is adopted and that is important to her. I don't agree with her but its not my job to tell her she cant have her child and I should support her through anything. You should have thought about what you were doing before you did it.
